/ noun
Welcome to Tailhaus — a boutique pet hotel and doggy daycare tucked into a safe, peaceful corner of farm life in Paarl. With wide open space to explore and calm corners to curl up in, we’ve created a space where both dogs and cats feel right at home.
Our doggy daycare is all about freedom and fun — think lush green lawns, splashy fountains, enrichment games, and space to zoom. Meanwhile, our cozy pet hotel offers a peaceful, stress-free retreat for overnight stays — with dedicated, separate spaces for both playful pups and independent felines.
Whether your pet loves to romp or prefers to nap in a sunbeam, Tailhaus is a place where they can thrive, feel safe, and be cared for like family.
Dogs play, rest, and thrive. Cats relax, observe, and rule. However your pet vibes, we’ve got the care and calm to match.
Get photo updates of your pup’s parkour. Because let’s be honest — you were going to ask anyway.
Based on Mooi Uitsig Farm in Paarl, we welcome dogs from Paarl, Wellington, Cape Town and further afield, especially over the holidays. A short drive for you, a mini holiday for your pet.
Our staff understands woofs — trained in behaviour, first aid, and expert-level belly rubs and chin scritches.
From splash zones to sunbeams, we’ve created environments that match each pet’s vibe — playful, peaceful, or both.
No surprises, just straight-up rates for premium care — so you know exactly what you're getting (besides a happy, tired pet).

Or purr with contentment. Either way, it’s about to get adorable around here.
Got questions about daycare, sleepovers, or our cozy pet spaces? We’d love to hear from you!

Our dog gets so excited the second her leash comes out — this is her favourite place to be when we’re away!
